    A native of Nashville, Toni Hooper received her Bachelor of Science degree in Studio Art from Tennessee State University.

    Abstract Expressionists have had the greatest impact on Hooper's work.  The use of colors, shapes and lines blend together to form her unique style.  Of her work she says, "I .want to evoke a response from the viewer.  I want to know what they see, what they feel when viewing my art.  I am very passionate about what I do.
